This ring is designed for mounting cameras at the end of Takahashi CA-35 adapters (M54x0.75). The output of the ring has a standard T (M42x0.75) male thread. It has an additional M48x0.75 thread at the inlet for screwing on a 2" filter (50.8 mm barrel). The ring's 6.5 mm optical path distance corresponds to the thickness required to mount a QSI WSG camera equipped with a T-thread, and to reach the conventional 56.2 mm behind the Takahashi CA-35 photo adapter. Initially designed for mounting this camera, the ring can be used for any other assembly requiring conversion from M54 to T2 thread.
It's very important to calculate the total length of the assembly of accessories in order to scrupulously respect the backfocus requirements of your instrument ; mechanical backfocus is the distance between the last mechanical bearing surface of the instrument, a field corrector or a focal reducer and the surface of your sensor. If in doubt, don't hesitate to contact your Takahashi dealer.
Designed by our team and manufactured in France by our partner mechanical workshop in Colmar, a specialist in high-precision machining in small series, this ring is made of aluminum and anodized in matte black.
