This ring is designed for mounting cameras on the Takahashi CA-35 adapters on the FS-60 refractor (M52x0.75). The ring output is standard T thread (M42x0.75) male. The optical path distance is just 1.8 mm, low enough not to degrade the performance of Takahashi reducers and correctors, yet within tolerances to reach the conventional 56.2 mm length behind the Takahashi CA-35 photo adapter. Initially designed for mounting ZWO cameras, the ring can be used for any other assembly requiring conversion from M52 to T2 threads, with the addition of extension rings.
It's very important to calculate the total length of the assembly of accessories in order to scrupulously respect the backfocus requirements of your instrument ; mechanical backfocus is the distance between the last mechanical bearing surface of the instrument, a field corrector or a focal reducer and the surface of your sensor. If in doubt, don't hesitate to contact your Takahashi dealer.
Designed by our team and manufactured in France by our partner mechanical workshop in Colmar, a specialist in high-precision machining in small series, this ring is made of aluminum and anodized in matte black.
