Collimating tube for Newtonian

The collimation tool for Takahashi Epsilons
Description

The collimation tube has been specially designed to adjust the secondary mirror of Takahashi Newtonian telescopes, in particular the Epsilon hyperbolic models . The tube is equipped with a wire reticle that allows perfect centering, thanks to the marking on the secondary mirror of these instruments. For complete collimation, the tube must be combined with the TKA00441 collimation eyepiece.

This Takahashi collimation tube features a special 36.4 mm threaded encompassing assembly. It screws onto the n°14 ring of the 31.75 mm eyepiece holder of Takahashi Epsilon telescopes. Refer to your instrument's system-chart for details.

Its use on instruments other than Takahashi Epsilon is not recommended, as the optical and mechanical prerequisites are very specific.
