Inspired by the model offered by American manufacturer Robin Casady, which ceased trading a few years ago, the 14" male dovetail bar is intended for mounting Takahashi cradles on mounts equipped with a Losmandy-format female dovetail head. Three positions are available to best balance your instrument and accessories, including an offset if required.
The M8 thread center distance is 35mm and corresponds to that of Takahashi cradle; assembly is carried out by reusing the screws supplied with the cradle. Designed by our technical team, this dovetail bar is manufactured in small series in our partner mechanical workshop in Colmar, France. The finish is extremely meticulous and will perfectly match your Takahashi telescope.
