The EX-Q adapter is used to mount the extender EXQ-Q1.6X on the Takahashi FS-60 telescope, as well as on older Takahashi SKY-90 and FSQ-106 refractors. It mounts the 1.25" (31.75 mm) eyepiece holder, #TKP00101, at the end of the EXQ-1.6X, mainly for visual use (direct aiming or with a diagonal prism).
The inner face of the ring is grooved and painted matt black to avoid stray light reflections. The tube features rubber knurling for easy gripping.
The input mechanical interface is a M42x0.75 female thread (T-thread). The output mechanical interface is a M36.4x1 female thread. The spacing distance is 28mm. The inlet and outlet reference surfaces are shown on the schematic half-section of the Characteristics section.
