The Takahashi EC ring is used in extender-Q1.6x assemblies, on older-generation Takahashi FS-60, SKY-90 and FSQ-106 telescopes. It enables the TCA-4 projection photo adapter to be attached to the rear of the EXQ-1.6X extender for high-resolution afocal photography.
The input mechanical interface is a M42x0.75 female thread (T-thread). The output mechanical interface is a M43.4x0.75 female thread. The spacing distance is 12mm. The inlet and outlet reference surfaces are shown on the schematic half-section of the Characteristics section.
