Wide Field Astrographs

Takahashi wide-field astrographs are instruments for imaging the deep sky with a wide field of view. These refractors have an optical formula of the Petzval quadruplet type. This is the combination of a triplet lens with an integrated field corrector, located at the entrance of the focuser. In focus, the image is perfectly corrected for chromatic aberrations and field curvature on an image circle that can cover a medium-format sensor on the FSQ-106EDX4!
