Dall-Kirkham Mewlon series reflectors are long focal length telescopes with high F/D focal ratio. The primary mirror is ellipsoidal while the secondary mirror is spherical. The surface accuracy of the optics is at least λ/20.
The Mewlon-210 remains a compact telescope. Easily transportable, it does not require a large mount to operate. Its F/111.5 focal ratio is primarily intended for planetary imaging but it remains versatile during observations. The focus, achieved by translating the primary mirror, is very smooth and very precise. The integrated 7x50 scope finder is adjustable and will serve as a handle for transport.
The telescope is delivered with a male and a female dovetails, both Vixen-type.
